2018 Harvest

Chris and Karla picking grapes

Join us the weekend of September 8 & 9, 2018, at Old Folsom Vineyard for our annual red grape harvest! It’s the most fun “work” of the year when we pick grapes the “old fashioned way,” with your helping hands.

What to Expect: We’ll start on Saturday, Sept. 8, and go throughout the weekend until we’ve picked them all. Show up any time from from 8 AM, onward. Whether it’s an hour or a full day, your help will make a difference. All pickers over the age of 21 that help us for 5 hours or more will receive a commemorative 2018 harvest bottle from Old Folsom Vineyard. No prior experience is needed, and all willing workers are welcome–so invite your friends!

What to Bring: We provide the cutting tools and a taco lunch. If you have any extra 5-gallon buckets or stools, you can bring one along to sit on while you pick. Please also remember a hat, sun screen, sun glasses, a water bottle, and appropriate footwear (flip-flops or sandals are not recommended).
